Little League International Mourns the Passing of New Jersey District 5 Assistant District Administrator George Spero
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.

Little League International mourns the passing of Assistant New Jersey District 5 Administrator George Spero. He was 72.
Mr. Spero of Lodi, N.J., served as Assistant New Jersey District 5 Administrator for 25 years, and provided 34 years of volunteer service to Lodi Oldtimers Little League.
The league’s Vice President at the time of his passing, Mr. Spero held every position on the Lodi Oldtimers Little League board of directors and was along-time coach.
Mr. Spero, a former plant supervisor for Pan Technologies in Carlstadt, N.J., is survived by his wife, Rosemary, daughter, Rosemary Lipari; sons Thomas and Anthony; and grandchildren Danielle Spero, Zachary Spero, Marc Lipari and Timothy Lipari; sisters Ann Giglio, Louise Belmonte and brother John Spero.
