Little League’s Facebook “Friends” to Vote on 2012 Photo Contest Entries
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.
March 6, 2012
It’s time for Little League families, friends and fans to share their memorable moments. The 2012 Little League photo contest is under way and open to any Little League volunteer.
The annual Little League Baseball and Softball Photo Contest will gather entries and award recognition to three photographers for their outstanding images depicting Little League Baseball and Softball activities. Winners will receive 2012 Little League Baseball World Series merchandise, have their photographs displayed in the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum, will be recognized on the Little League website and social media pages, as well as appearing in the Little Leaguer e-newsletter.
The 2012 contest will again be conducted using the Little League Baseball and Softball Facebook site. This will allow anyone who is a fan of Little League Baseball and Softball through their Facebook page to vote on the top 10 pictures submitted. NOTE: After the deadline for submitting photos has passed (July 13, 2012) and after an initial voting process is conducted by Little League International staff, Little League International will post the top 10 photos on Facebook for voting. Photos will not be available for voting until then.
Individuals wishing to view the pictures included in the photo contest and to cast their vote must be a fan of the Little League Baseball and Softball Facebook page. It’s easy to become one of the nearly 60,000 Little League

About Me
- Dan Knottingham
- My Dad used to make up an area outside complete with backyard baseball batting cages, basketball hoop and everything else that could fit. When I was young I dreamed of going to the NBA. Now, I am happy to coach Little League and Steve Nash Minor Basketball!
